Students can be Residential or Non-Residential. Please note that if you are under 12 years old and are not coming as a member of an ensemble, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

For adults attending the course as ensemble directors or parent/guardians there are also Residential or Non-Residential options.

WYGF is dedicated to supporting young students of all backgrounds and abilities and is committed to keeping course costs to a minimum and offering bursaries to those with real financial need. Each case will be assessed by the trustees individually, and depending on Bursary funds available, awards of up to 40% course fee reductions may be available. If you think you may qualify for a Bursary please contact the festival office for further information.

PAYMENT DETAILS

  • A non-refundable deposit of £35 per student is required by February 28th 2007 to secure your place on the festival.
  • Outstanding balances are due by June 4th 2007.
  • All cheques should be made payable to The Arts Circus and sent to: WYGF Festival Office, 17 Hyde Abbey Road, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 7DA

CONDITIONS

  • By attending the festival you agree to all the following conditions:
  • A non-refundable deposit of £35 per student is required to reserve a place on the festival
  • WYGF reserves the right to refuse entry to any festival participant
  • Unacceptable behaviour and/or conduct will result in the student’s instant removal from the festival and he/she will be returned home, accompanied by an adult, before the end of the festival with the parent or guardian being required to bear the cost of this.
  • All details are correct at the time of going to press but WYGF reserves the right to change any detail of the course.
  • All musical instruments should be insured against damage or theft. WYGF regrets that it cannot take any responsibility for loss or damage to personal possessions during the festival.
  • WYGF reserves the right to cancel the course up to four weeks before commencement.

CANCELLATION

All cancellations must be made in writing.  WYGF will refund 50% of the course fee providing notice of cancellation has been received at least 6 weeks prior to the first day of the festival.  No fees will be refunded in respect of cancellations notified less than 6 weeks prior to the first day of a course other than in cases of illness.  If a student is prevented from attending a course by illness the Trustees may at their discretion refund up to 50% of the course fee on receipt of a written request from parents accompanied by a doctor’s certificate. Registration deposits are not refundable in any circumstances.
